Team Rosters

1. Team Roster Maximum*exceptions for TBPL - contact your Operator.
It depends on the Match Format consisting of the number of Players (4 or 5) and the number of Games (15, 16, 20 or 25):

  • For 5-15, 5-20 and 5-25 Match Formats, the maximum is 10 Players; any 5 of which play each Round of a Match.

  • For 4-16 and 4-20 Match Formats, the maximum is 8 Players; any 4 of which play each Round of a Match.

  • Substitutions between Rounds is permitted ONLY IN PLAYOFFS.

    2. Team Roster Additions/Deletions - Usually Jan 1st - depending on each Division & Length of Season.
Additional Players may be registered on the Night they first play by advising the League Office in writing on the back of white copy of the Scoresheet or 'on line' at the League Website. Their full Name, Mailing and E-mail Address and Phone Numbers of both Home and Work is needed.

A Player may be deleted because they are no longer on the Team or to make room for adding a Player.

    3. Team Roster 'Freeze'- after Dec 31. * Unless otherwise approved by League Operator.

    All Team Rosters are 'frozen';
The purpose of ths is to avoid the 'stacking' of Teams in the 2nd half of the League Schedule giving them an unfair advantage over other Teams in all the Playoffs.

Anyone that cannot field a Team on a regular basis after that date for whatever reason should immediately contact the League Operator - who has the authority to approve Team Roster additions. I will review the circumstances and will ensure that any new Players are of the same or lesser Skill Level than those that they are replacing.

    4. Team Restrictions*
There are Team Restrictions for each Division as to what the Rankings are of Players who may play in a Match.

The purpose of this is to ensure within each Divison that the Teams are competitive and that along with Team Handicaps have a reasonable chance of winning any particular Match. **League Operator has the right to 'Oversee & Protect' all Teams and Divisions to the best of his/her ability.**

**SEE - Your Rules & Reg's in your Captain's Books or Online.

CCS Canadians - NO ORIGINAL TEAM MATES REQUIRED, as long as all players are from the same LEAGUE !!

ACS VEGAS - 3 out of 5 Originals or 2 out of 4 for Team Play. The remaining players must come from the same League.
    **See Full explaination below.

Team Rosters may exceed the maximum. The restrictions apply to who may play in any one Round of a Match.

If more than the allowable number of Ranked Players are used in a Round of a Match:
  • The Player with the highest average becomes a forfeited Game.

  • The opposing Player gets 10 Points and a Win.

  • The Round Point is automatically awarded to the other Team.

  • Team Captains are to be notified by the League Office of the infraction and the Point adjustments. Repeated infractions will be reviewed by the League Executive for further action.
